About The Book

The Book is a collection of great stories, jokes, poems, art, and imagery that will inspire and delight. It’s a wonderful book that you can easily dip in and out of and it would also make a wonderful gift. All of the amazing content in The Book was submitted by people from Sligo, Leitrim and beyond between the ages of 6 and 94, and proceeds from sales will go directly towards building our new online voucher buddy platform.

With the support of Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, we are developing a new Voucher platform making it possible for people in mental health recovery to request vouchers for life-enhancing activities that will support their journey. We have been running this service off-line for over 6 years. The new online platform will allow us to reach more people in our community and make it easier for people to choose and request vouchers.

At Havin’ a Laugh we are delighted that ‘The Book’ is available for sale on our website.

Books are priced @ €15 each
We are currently taking payment through PayPal and Stripe or Google Pay so you can pay directly with your credit or debit card on our website if you don’t have a PayPal account. If for any reason you cannot make payment online and would like to reserve a book please email us at book.havinalaugh@gmail.com and we will be happy to help.
Postage and Packaging costs depend on location and number of books ordered. There is a click and collect option if you would like to purchase 10 books or more, please email your request to book.havinalaugh@gmail.com.
As a volunteer organisation we dispatch books once a fortnight. Once you place your order your book(s) will be dispatched on the next P&P day.
For emergency orders, go ahead and order and email us on book.havinalaugh@gmail.com with your request for immediate dispatch and an excellent reason!
